the perils of software development
The code i use to run things around here besides this wordpress element is a bunch of php scripting i hacked together a number of years ago. It is what you call ‘legacy’ software which means despite its cranky and evil nature it’s soft pourous folds and looping if/else statements have over time molded themselves to the task required …and therefore cannot be removed without great effort and gnashing of teeth.
I was wondering yesterday if i would have to replace it but no, i have just about coaxed it back into shape.
